Same business. Different rules.
Every border your company crosses adds legal work that nobody on the team owns, and with it cost, delay and personal risk. Lexaero is the legal and technology consultancy that takes that work on: one adviser, a fixed fee, as your legal function or alongside it.
Below: a one-minute film, then your situation
The Hague Scroll for the film
A one-minute film with narration and quiet music, over black-and-white aerial views: a mountain ridge, a border between two field systems, an airliner following a coastline, a data-centre hall, an operating theatre seen from above, a bridge across a strait, a container port, a construction site with tower cranes, a football stadium as its floodlights come on, a financial district at dusk, wind turbines above fog, and a horizon above cloud. The film and its voice were generated with AI. The narration reads: Every border adds a rulebook. A company that works in two countries answers to two sets of laws. Most learn what that costs when something goes wrong. Lexaero is the legal and technology consultancy that helps you find out first. You face the audit prepared: filings made, data protected in every country, AI under control. You sign contracts built to hold on both sides of the border, and your group's own agreements are ready for a buyer. You enter the new market on firm ground: the company formed, the name cleared before the launch. And funding has its best chance: the right programme chosen, the application made, the investor's questions answered in advance. One adviser. One fixed fee, agreed before the work begins. Lexaero. Legal coverage, across borders. The film describes what the work aims at; it does not promise a result.

Your situation
Where is your company right now?
Open a row to see what is at stake and what Lexaero delivers. Tick the rows that apply to you and send them with your message.
- At stake
- The date you can start trading, and who answers for the new company.
- The exposure
- The wrong legal form or a missing registration surfaces at the bank or at the first contract, and the launch waits. In several countries directors can be held personally liable for filings they did not know existed.
- What Lexaero delivers
- The right route chosen on the facts: company, branch, agent or distributor. Then the company or branch formed and registered, working with the notary or a local agent, its signatories appointed, and a first-year filing calendar in place.
- First step
- One call, then a one-page comparison of the routes into that country.
- At stake
- A customer contract, an investment or a regulator's enquiry that is waiting for your answer.
- The exposure
- The deal stalls in the other side's review. A GDPR fine can reach EUR 20 million or 4% of worldwide annual turnover, whichever is higher. Under Swiss law an intentional breach of certain duties can bring a fine of up to CHF 250,000, aimed at the responsible individual and not the company.
- What Lexaero delivers
- One set of records, notices, agreements and transfer terms built to meet every law that applies, and answers ready for the next questionnaire.
- First step
- A gap review against the laws that apply to you.
- At stake
- The approval the business runs on, and what the audit finds.
- The exposure
- The gaps are found by the inspector, and they are fixed under the regulator's deadline instead of your own.
- What Lexaero delivers
- A ranked list of gaps and a costed plan, then documents your teams can follow and an inspector can audit, fitted into the management system you already run.
- First step
- The Diagnostic, a three-week assessment at a fixed fee. Where the regime is outside Lexaero's own sector experience, a specialist named in the proposal works alongside Lexaero.
- At stake
- The brand, and everything spent on launching it.
- The exposure
- The owner of an earlier mark can stop the name after the packaging, the domains and the campaign are paid for. An EU trade mark covers 27 countries. Switzerland and the United Kingdom are not among them.
- What Lexaero delivers
- A clearance report for every market you will sell in, alternatives where a name is blocked, and the filing prepared.
- First step
- A call, then the name and the list of markets, under a non-disclosure agreement if you want one.
- At stake
- Months of your team's time, and the timing of the round.
- The exposure
- Weeks go into a programme the company could never have won. Many programmes are for small and medium-sized companies only, and a larger shareholder or sister company can take you out of that class. An investor who finds gaps in the records can lower the price or walk away.
- What Lexaero delivers
- A reasoned yes or no on eligibility for each programme, the application planned and drafted with your team, and a company record put in order for an investor's due diligence.
- First step
- A go or no-go review before anyone writes an application.
- At stake
- Whether the contract is worth what it says, and the closing date.
- The exposure
- A judgment that cannot be enforced where the other side keeps its assets, an agent owed compensation when the relationship ends, or a deal that needed a notary or a clearance nobody planned for.
- What Lexaero delivers
- Agreements that settle first which law applies and which court or tribunal decides, chosen with an eye to where the ruling can be enforced. For a deal: due diligence and documents prepared alongside your deal counsel and tax adviser.
- First step
- A call, then the draft or the term sheet, under a non-disclosure agreement.
- At stake
- The directors' personal position and the company's standing with its bank.
- The exposure
- In the Netherlands, for example, filing accounts more than 12 months after the year-end is an economic offence. If the company goes bankrupt within three years, the law presumes the late filing was an important cause, and the directors are liable for the shortfall unless they rebut that presumption. A bank may block the account when the ownership register is wrong.
- What Lexaero delivers
- One calendar for every entity, filings prepared for signature or, in the Netherlands, made by Lexaero as your registered authorised representative, and registers that match the facts.
- First step
- Today's register extracts compared with reality.

General orientation as at October 2026. It is not legal advice, and what applies to you turns on facts this page cannot see.
Lexaero does not advise on tax, customs, banking or work permits, and does not broker investments. Where they matter, it says so and works with the adviser you choose.
What leaving it costs
- CHF 250,000
- The top fine under Swiss data-protection law, for intentional breaches of specified duties. It is aimed at the responsible individual, not the company.
- 4%
- Of worldwide annual turnover: the ceiling of a GDPR fine for the most serious infringements, where that exceeds EUR 20 million.
- 12 months
- After the financial year ends: the outer limit for filing a Dutch company's accounts. Past it, late filing is an economic offence and, if the company goes bankrupt within three years, the directors are presumed to have caused it and are liable for the shortfall unless they rebut that.
- 27
- Countries an EU trade mark covers. It stops there: in Switzerland and the United Kingdom the name needs its own registration, and someone else may hold it.
Statutory maximums and limits as at October 2026: Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection articles 60 to 63; GDPR article 83(5); Dutch Civil Code Book 2 articles 248 and 394 and Economic Offences Act article 1; Regulation (EU) 2017/1001 on the EU trade mark, article 1.

How Lexaero works
Legal and technology at one desk
Documents that engineers can implement and regulators can audit. Lexaero also builds the working tools, including AI systems, that put the rules into daily use.
A consultancy, not a law firm
Lexaero advises, drafts and files. Where a matter needs a notary or a locally admitted lawyer, Lexaero introduces one, you engage them directly, and Lexaero coordinates the work. What you share is confidential by contract, but is not covered by legal professional privilege. What that means
